Trainee Investment Banker

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and driven graduate with a finance degree to join our Investment Banking team in London as a Trainee Investment Banker. The successful candidate will be part of a structured training program designed to develop their skills and knowledge within the field of finance.

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting financial analysis: You will be responsible for conducting financial analysis on companies and industries to support investment decisions.
2. Supporting transaction execution: You will be involved in the execution of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and debt and equity offerings, by supporting senior team members.
3. Pitch preparation: You will assist in the preparation of pitchbooks and presentations for potential clients.
4. Conducting due diligence: You will be responsible for conducting due diligence on potential investments, including reviewing financial statements, conducting market research, and assessing the competitive landscape.
5. Networking: You will be expected to build relationships with clients, potential clients, and other professionals in the finance industry.
6. Supporting team members: You will work closely with other members of your team and other teams within the bank to deliver high-quality work to clients.

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
2. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Self-motivated and a quick learner.
6. Strong attention to detail.
7. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
